Cool kan? Masalah juga kalau dah kemaruk atau ketagih dengan facebook ni. Segala benda yang berlaku atau terjadi semua nak ‘update’ kt Facebook. Kalau boleh walau tengah mandi ke buang air besar pun nak tulis dalam status Facebook.

Contoh yang berlaku kat Chris Crego ni. Mungkin sebab sebelum dia masuk penjara, dia selalu sangat main Facebook, main cafe world ke apa ke. Maka dah jadi ketagih. Sebab ketagihan dia yang pelik ni, dia lari dari penjara. Semata-mata untuk update status Facebook kot, haha. Lepas je dia update Status, terus kantoi dengan polis lokais dia menyorok… Kesian dia,

Police track down fugitive through his updated Facebook status

If you’re wanted by the police, it might be wise not to update your Facebook status to inform the public of your whereabouts, but that’s exactly what this clever criminal did.

Chris Crego had a warrant out for his arrest after pleading guilty for assault but failed to show up for his sentencing.

He was arrested in 2009 for fighting in a New York bar but tried to avoid facing the consequences of his guilty plea, CBS News reported.

Lockport (N.Y) Police Capt. Richard Podgers told CNN that detectives starting searching the internet for information on Crego and found his Facebook and MySpace page listing his current residence.

Not only did he list his address, but also the tattoo parlour he was working at in Indiana and his working hours!

He even posted his ‘wanted’ poster online which had been published in the Terre Haute Tribune Star.

Lockport police then handed over the information to Marshals in Indiana who tracked him down and charged $25,000 for escaping.  He now has his hearing on April 5.
