Bayangkan, tak sampai seminggu kes Syafia Humairah, timbul lagi kes baru. Kali ni K. Haresvarran dibunuh oleh suami kepada penjaga beliau (Babysitter). Berita tentang kes ini boleh dibaca di pelbagai Surat Khabar ‘Online’. Bayangkan, baru umur 18 bulan, beliau didera sehingga mati, laporan bedah siasat melaporkan bahawa 6 tulang dada (ribcage) beliau remuk dan pelbagai tanda-tanda lebam di badan mangsa. Ini memang tindakan manusia tiada akal! Suspek kemudian ditahan untuk siasatan lanjut malam nya.

Couple remanded for toddler’s death

PETALING JAYA: A 23-year-old woman and her lorry attendant husband, 33, were remanded for seven days for the murder of 18-month-old K. Haresvarren.

Magistrate Aishah Hijriah Arshad issued the remand order on the former babysitter and her husband when they were brought to the magistrate’s court here for remand proceedings at 11.30am Friday.

The boy’s death had fuelled allegations of abuse as police found Haresvarren with six broken ribs, a ruptured liver consistent with severe blunt force trauma in addition to some old and new bruises on his body.

It was also learnt that there were fingernail marks on the boy’s private parts and a testicle was swollen.

Haresvarren’s father was quoted saying that his wife he left the boy at a friend’s flat at Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara at 9pm on Wednesday night.

The babysitter’s husband, who lived one floor below turned up and took the boy away, saying that he wanted to buy the baby chocolates,he said.

He added that when the boy was returned to the babysitter, he had pointed at his head indicating that he was not well, he added.

PETALING JAYA: “He killed my baby because he was jealous… jealous he didn’t have a child of his own,” said grieving father S. Karigalan, 42, as he spoke of the brutal murder of 18-monthold K. Haresvarran.

The boy had been severely beaten, kicked and his liver had burst, causing  his death on Tuesday night.

Police have detained a neighbour at the Sri Ara flats in Vista Damansara, Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara.

“My baby was a good boy. I don’t know why he did this. I don’t understand this man,” said Karigalan, who works as a film producer, and has a 10-year-old daughter from his first marriage and a three-month-old son.
